My name is Breanna Haglund and I am a high school freshman. I am also doing a history research project. For this project I need to interview a Viet Nam veteran. Unfortunately, I am not acquainted with a veteran. I know this can be a hard subject, but if anyone would be able to assist me, I would be very grateful. The assignment is due the 11th, so I would need a reply before then, I am sorry this is of late notice, but I tried a different site and no one has replied. You do not have to be posted in Viet Nam to help me, but if you were a NON-POSTED veteran, you will have to write me for the seperate questions.
The questions are:

3.When were you in Viet Nam?
4.How did you become involved?
5.What did you know about the Viet Nam Conflict before you joined the service?
6.How did you feel about your involvement?
7.When did you enter the United States military? To what locations were you sent by the US military. For what purposes were you sent there?

9.What were your first impressions about Viet Nam?
10.What are two or three things you learned about Viet Nam and service time there. Did you learn them quikly upon arrival?

13.How did you feel about those people in the United States who regularly demonstrated against our involvement in Viet Nam?
14.Do you feel there are any unsettled issues that Viet Nam and the United States need to settle?

16.With the passage of 30 years since we pulled out of
Viet Nam, what are your feelings now about the time, money and American lives the United State spent there?
